All the beings breathe to live. Breathe in oxygen, breathe out carbon dioxide. The oxygen unifies with the hydrocarbon, to produce the energy and the carbon dioxide.  The plants like the animals, need the breathe to live. The difference between them is, the animals breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.  The abutilons breathe in carbon dioxide; breathe out oxygen during the day. At night it’s the contrary.

How the plants breathe ?

During the day, the leaves of the abutilons take the carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In the leaves there is green substance called the Chlorophyll, changes into a sugar and water. This process known as the Photosynthesis, it happens when there is just sun light. The oxygen is thrown away, by releasing it in the air. The sugar is used as nutrition. This sugar transforms to Carbohydrates like starch and acid carbonic and vitamins.

At night when there is no sun light the process of Photosynthesis ends. The abutilons use some produced sugar, they take the oxygen and throw the carbon dioxide in the air. That’s why it’s not advised to sleep by a tree at night.
